Get on the MCAN Express!

If you graduated from the University of St. Francis before 2016, you may never have set foot on the St. Clare campus.

If you graduated before 2014, you have no idea that the Plaster Center has nothing to do with plastering or getting plastered.

If you graduated before 2009, you took your art classes up on the 4th floor of Tower Hall and not at the Art and Design studios in the Rialto Square Building.

July 13 is your opportunity to get your head around the fact that lil’ ol’ USF has three separate campuses here in Joliet. Your head and the rest of your body can hop aboard the MCAN Express bus for a tour of the St. Clare campus (home of the USF Nursing program and several administrative offices), the St. Bonaventure campus (headquarters for the History, RSTM, PoliSci and CSJU departments with the Art and Design Department across the street) and a stop for refreshments (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) at Juliet’s restaurant in downtown Joliet.

This bus tour is sponsored by the Mass Communication Alumni Network (MCAN) but any USF alum, as well as spouses and significant others can ride along for an evening of fun and frilovity with your fellow aluminums and several of your favorite faculty. (Remember, never trust spel-chek).

Some light appetizers will be provided at Juliet’s and, of course, a cash bar is available. RSVPs to the alumni office are required so please call 877-811-ALUM or email See you on the 13th of July!
